Applicants must be planning to attend a university, college, technical, or vocational institution, and have been involved in community and/or school activities.
Joseph B. Brey Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must be graduates of Munising High School
BRP Central Region Ski-Doo
Applicants must be graduates of Munising High School planning to attend a vocational or technical institution, and must successfully complete their first semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 to get the second disbursement.
Vernon Constantineau Memorial
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, have a good attendance record, and be planning to major in a business or computer field.
Thelma N. Cotey
Applicants must be planning to pursue further education in the areas of medicine, business, or forestry.
Elliot-Kling Scholarship Fund
Applicants must be graduates of Munising High School.
Joseph C. Hamel
Applicants must be male graduate of Munising High School with a GPA of 2.5-3.0
Lois Chaltry Hamel
Applicants must be a female graduate of Munising High School with a GPA of 2.5-3.0
Dr. John F. Hechtman
Applicants must be graduates of Munising High School planning to pursue a degree in engineering, chemistry, math, or physics.
Pete Heyrman
Two annual scholarships given to graduates of Munising High School. The graduating male and female senior(s) will meet the following requirements:
- Graduating Male Senior given to an athlete on the varsity football team; and
- Graduating Female Senior given to an athlete on a varsity team.
Carl “Star” Kjellin
Applicants must be graduates of Munising High School planning to pursue a degree in the field of law enforcement.
Ellen Lindquist Award
Applicants must be Munising High School graduates planning to pursue a degree in a medically-related field, and must successfully complete their first college semester.
Native American Education Award
Given to a Native American graduate, applicants must have participated in Native Cultural/Academic activities, projects, or programs while attending MHS, be a participant in community service activities, and must have a minimum 2.0 overall GPA.
Henry R. Nelson
Applicants must be planning to pursue a degree in the area of Industrial Technology, Industrial Arts, or computer technology. Preference will be given to students who will be attending Northern Michigan University.
Mary Peterson Memorial
Applicants must be planning to continue their education at an institution of higher learning.
S.H.I.N.E.
Applicants must be planning to continue their education at a college, university, technical or vocational institution. Applicants must demonstrate involvement in community and school activities, and have participated in the Munising Hockey Association as a player.
William J. Tidd
Applicants must be planning to continue their education at a college, university, technical or vocational institution.
